2006-10-25 - 11:02 a.m. I spent 30 minutes this morning in a discussion with a co-worker on the career of Charles Nelson Riley. We couldn't decide what he was actually famous for. An internet search brought us to a listing of famous and infamous gay men in history. Let me tell ya, *that* was an interesting list. Anyway, I had already told my co-worker that he was in "Lidsville" from Saturday Morning TV in the 70's. He couldn't remember it (even though he's 2 years older than I) Sure enough, I was proved right with a trip to the IMdB. Amazingly enough, he was also in a bunch of tv shows as a guest performer. Famous for being famously weird. I know you're wondering how this whole things came about. It's because of "Boston Legal" and that weird little man who is currently on the show. The one that we decided sounded like a very gay Charles Nelson Riley from Charleston. Weird, huh?
