2006-10-19 - 12:11 p.m. It's October 19th. Not a particularly auspicious day, but it *is* "Get Smart About Credit Day" and it's the birthday of Evander Holyfield, Ty Pennington, and John LeCarre. Can I hear a Big Whoop?!!! yeah...I thought so. In other news today, the early voting fiasco has started here at the library. I've already had to complain about some asswipe who is campaigning for his dude outside our front door. He's set up shop at our bookdrop AND he's harrassing people who are just coming to the library, NOT voting. He's even walking over to their car when they drive up to hand them his propaganda. I'm not sure what else to do, since I've let the Election people know that he's doing it. They went and spoke to him, but his behavior has not changed. I had one guy complain this morning because the kids from Toddler Time were too loud. Jeez. We had to move Toddler Time to the main part of the library since the election yahoos have commandered our meeting room. Yay. The beauty of everything is that it's going to continue for the next two 1/2 weeks. goody.
