2006-09-27 - 10:31 a.m. Been busy the past couple of days. Mostly work stuff, in fact, all work stuff except for band rehearsal Monday night. As for band, there's some darn hard music in this batch. whew. I'm feeling challenged and that doesn't happen that often. Now for the work stuff...last night was finally the big hootenanny that the Friends of the Library threw. We've been covered up with Friends here and Friends there for the past few days and all there preparations. We had about 75 people show and it turned out very nice. I was quite pleased with the whole shindig...but damn, am I glad it's over. Now to survive our booksale that's happening this weekend and all will be good for awhile. Unfortunately they had lots of food left over last night...and they left a lot of it here. Some really good, really bad for you cookies. Not good at all.
