2006-08-04 - 12:34 p.m. What an incredibly odd week it's been. My schedule has not been what it normally is, and that just makes things, well...odd. I had two unexpected (but very nice) invites to go to lunch. Then yesterday I up and decided to take the afternoon off. This was almost thwarted by sooo many factors, but I'm glad to say it did get to happen. Since Rhi has been on vacation all week, we skipped over to the theater to see "Clerks II". First of all, if you're not a Kevin Smith fan and you haven't seen the first one, you'd definitely *not get* this one. It really was quite amusing, but what was MORE amusing was the guy down in front of us who laughed the entire movie...as if it was the funniest shit he's EVER seen. I don't think I'll go so far as to say that, but, yeah, it was funny. It was also not for the faint of heart. If you don't mind every other word being 'fuck' and some extremely interesting sexual themes, then go right ahead. Just don't take a kid to see it. Anyway, not too much planned for the weekend and I'm thrilled about that. Hopefully it will be peaceful and uneventful. I can only hope, right?
