2006-07-28 - 10:11 a.m. Taking today off and giving myself a 3 day weekend. How nice is that? Of course it's going to be jam-packed, but that's ok. Tonight I'm headed downtown with some friends for the annual street-fest known as Bele chere. It's 400,000 of Asheville's closest friends. ewwww. We're going to hear Gov't Mule tonight and it should be a good time, even though I normally can't stand going to Bele Chere. I haven't been in several years so I'll reserve judgement until I get there--it's only fair, right? Tomorrow I have no idea what's going on. My cousin and his girlfriend are visiting from Alabama and I'd like to see them sometime. Plus, my brother is making an appearance and spending the day. holy crap. I've also had plans to spend the evening with friends for a small birthday gathering. That's been planned for quite awhile, and everyone else decided to show at the last minute, so they'll have to be worked in during the day. whew. I do think I've got time on Sunday for recovery. My pipe band practice got cancelled for the afternoon and I'm rejoicing greatly about that one. whew #2. Now I had better get crackin' and get some housework done before all the festivities commence. have a good one!
