2006-07-26 - 12:18 p.m. Wow, things have been hopping here in Libraryland lately. Just sooo damn busy, it's just not funny. Right now, I'm working the desk by myself since everyone else has gone to lunch. I'm writing this in-between waiting on people and it's sloooow going. Don't get me wrong, busy-ness is a good thing, but as one of my co-workers stated the other day, "this is beginning to feel like a job". I'm counting the days until school starts, (three weeks) since a huge chunk of business right now is telling high-school kids that they've waited too long to get on the list for their summer reading books. Now they'll have to go purchase them. Oh well, they never learn. Now that I've bitched about that...I really don't know that I've got a lot to say about anything else. I'm blissfully boring right now and I love it. I did watch "Eureka" again last night on the Sci-Fi channel. I think its a show that I can really get into. Tonight I'll be watching the latest installment of Stephen King's "Nightmares & Dreamscapes" which I'm really enjoying also. I do have something else to do tonight besides watch TV though. Gotta go to choir practice and make 'em sing. I hope some people show up....or not.
