2006-07-11 - 5:54 p.m. So yesterday afternoon I was squatting down to shelve books in the Children's section...And Lo! there came a mighty sound *rrriiiiipppp* (no, I did not fart) and it came to pass that mine own olden blue-jeans I was wearing gave up the ghost at that very moment! I had achieved VENTILATION! in a rather delicate area. I managed to sashay myself rather discreetly back to the office. My children's librarian was doing something, I don't know what, but I told her that I could no longer wait on the public that day. Then I proceeded to laugh greatly at mine own expense. I did what I could in the office, then bailed. After all, I had to go to Orchestra rehearsal and there was no way in hell I could go with my jeans in that, um...condition. Bwhahahahahaha!!! We had a good Orchestra practice and my newer jeans withstood the punishment.
