2006-05-19 - 10:18 a.m. Glad to see it's Friday again, even though I'm a tad stressed. Got our big Baronial Birthday Event tomorrow and that's put an edge on everything. I'll be doing the MOL thing all day, so hopefully that'll be fun. I'm sure it will all turn out ok, but I'll be happy when it's all over. It's finally sunny outside today and I hear that it's going to start to warm up too. Boy am I glad, it's been cold WAY too long and I'm ready for a few dry, hot days. I'd really love to be able to take a walk during my lunches now that it looks like it's going to be nice. However, someone ran over a groundhog right on my walking path. I drive by it every day hoping it will rot fast because I sure as hell am not walking past it's carcass everyday. No sir-ree, not me. Yes it's gross, but I'm hoping the warmer weather will speed things along. Can I just say "ewww"? I've also got Pipe Band practice this weekend, so I've been trying to work in a little practicing. I have to say I haven't had a lot of time to do that, so my tune-age may be not quite up to par. I've been practicing during lunch lately instead of walking. Maybe the groundhog was a sign from the cosmos to practice? who knows? Anyway, on that note I'm going to leave you fine people.
