2006-05-11 - 10:52 a.m. I woke up today to a bright sunny day. It was warm and lovely. Now it's raining again. The local weather goober said it should be wonderful and only a teeny chance of afternoon thunderstorms. But the national weather on GMA said that the Carolina's and the Southeast in General would be wet and possibly have severe storms. WTF? I have come to the conclusion that the local morning dude is an idiot, even though he's been doing this for years here. He used to be good, but lately...not so good. And if I hear him use the adjective "murky" one more time to describe the weather, I'm going to lose my freakin' mind.
I'm headed off to an event his weekend, St. Hildegard, and I'm really looking forward to it. Haven't done one in awhile. However, I'm already behind on the packing thing and I need to get on it. There's just not enough damn time in the day(and evening) to do it. I'm teaching a bagpipe lesson tonight, so that'll eat into the time. I'm feeling stressed out, can you tell? Oh well, it'll happen I'm sure. Somehow I'll manage to pull it all out of my ass. I really need to run over to the Mall at lunch today and pick up a nice Mother's Day card. Hopefully I'll remember to do that, since it's about the only time I've got to do it. tsk-tsk.... Now I shall do some work...maybe. I'm really in need of some time off. It's coming, but it's a few weeks off yet.
