2006-04-10 - 2:38 p.m.

It's the start of the week, and once again I shall be having yet another week from Hell. I've got something planned every waking minute of each day and evening this week. I'm not sure I'm going to make it. However, if I can, next week promises absolutely nothing every night. I can't wait. Of course, I have to live through this one first.

The weekend was busy. Sort of. I lounged about at home Friday night and watched "Dr. Who". I have to say I'm really starting to like it. Saturday I spent puttering around the house mostly. I got several things done and that was good.

Saturday night was the annual Black Tie Scottish Gala thing. We had to be there at 5:00 and we didn't get to leave until around 9:00. We played a few tunes then got to eat a very fine dinner. I had thought it wouldn't be quite as nice this year, since it was at the College instead of the Country Club. I was pleasantly proved wrong. Good eats and all that. There was a bit of an oddity when we were all about to leave. This little old man at the table behind us apparently passed out or fell. He was lying prone on the floor with his eyes wide open and staring. I honestly thought he was dead. It was incredibly surreal. A couple of people called 9-1-1 and then he started to come to. whew. Of course there's the possibility that he had just had way too much to drink, but who knows?

I spent the majority of Sunday doing Baronial stuff, i.e. a too long meeting. After 2 1/2 hours I had to leave to make it to choir practice. yay.

So that's my weekend. Exciting, huh? I really wish I could come up with something exciting and interesting to write here sometime. I feel like all I'm doing is just giving the laundry list of what I'm doing. Perhaps I should take it as a sign that I do too much? maybe so.
