2006-04-05 - 12:34 p.m. whew. This morning was spent doing Storytime for the preschoolers. whew. I elected to change to "Baby" stories since their usual storytime lady just had one. We also made cards for her, which I think will make her really happy. Fortunately the kids today were all smiles and great listeners. They laughed in all the appropriate places and stayed still the rest of the time. It's soooo nice when it all works like that. It's halfway through the week and I'm already too tired. Monday I had band rehearsal, Tuesday night was book club, tonight I've got choir practice and tomorrow will be another Quintet rehearsal. Next week will be no better. I'm always glad when Easter is over with. That's the problem when you're a church choir director. You work your little choir hard to get ready for the big day and you're always relieved when it's over. hmmm...do other people look forward to the big holidays? It's hard to know any differently since I've been doing this for so long. whew. I'm also missing our Barony meeting tonight in order to practice. I really feel like I haven't been doing much SCA lately and I would really like to be. I miss it. Oh well. We're having our Booksale this weekend and I need to work on making sure our room is ready this afternoon. All the "friends" will be in tomorrow to set up. That can be a really trying time, to say the least. whew.
