2006-04-04 - 2:13 p.m. It's Tuesday. Our Children's Librarian had her baby yesterday! Yay! Mother and Daughter were both doing well the last time I heard. I know I haven't updated since last week so I shall briefly (ahem) mention the weekend. It was blissfully uneventful. Friday night I stayed home and watched "Dr. Who". So far I'm liking the new show, but this episode, (which will be continued this week) had to do with an invasion of farting aliens. Fascinating. Saturday I got stuff done at the house, mainly my taxes. eek! However I did fit in some laundry and general housecleaning too. I met up with a couple of friends later in the afternoon to go take in a viewing of "Slither". If you like really gross, silly horror movies go see it. If vomit,pus and other goo really make you ill, stay far, far away. I really enjoyed it myself :) It had some great one-liners that I'm going to have to try and work into my daily (well, maybe) vocabulary. Went out to dinner afterwards to The Cracker Barrel and then chilled at home. Managed to get to bed early enough to not be *too* affected by the time change. Sunday my piping practice got cancelled, so I was able to veg out the rest of the day. Well...maybe "veg" isn't the right word. I spent a ton of time on the treadmill. I'm religiously wearing my pedometer and trying to hit the recommended 10,000 steps per day. Work really interferes with that, ya know? The rest of this week is going to suck ass. I've got something every night this week and I hate that. Oh well. later!
