2006-03-29 - 5:41 p.m. Good Grief! has it really been that long since I updated? yeah, I guess it has. Let's see...the weekend was good. Spent time hanging out with lots of friends and that's almost always good. Had a bunch of fun with all of them. I even had a day to myself on Sunday and upon laying down for a few, I fell asleep for 3 hours! I don't know when the last time was when I did something like that. I felt decadent and positively indecent. It was lovely. The big news for the week is that on Monday, my children's librarian called from her Dr.'s appointment to tell me that they've scheduled her a C-section for next monday. That's 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Needless to say, I've been frantically scrambling the past few days to find enough substitutes to cover all the hours. I think my mission was finally accomplished today, give or take a few hours. I hope everything goes ok for her. They told her that the baby is small so they think she'll grow better outside rather than inside. whew. I also had yet another Quintet performance on Monday. what a day. Today another one of my people called in sick. I couldn't find a sub. Fortunately it hasn't been too busy, so things have been tolerable. Unfortunately it was Storytime day and that's always hectic. Thank goodness the weather was great today and people skipped their trip to the library today! oh look! It's finally time to go home. I'll stop now so I can kick all these people out. Go Home People!
